1. OVERVIEW

 

INST’s EDFA is compact packaged and provides two kinds of Mini configurations. One is a 90mm*70mm*15mm module(MSA) and the other is 45mm*70mm*15mm(only 1/2MSA). The two modules are very suitable for dense integrated into optical fiber systems.  The two modules are widely used in high speed optical fiber transmission systems. DWDM transmission channels and many scientific research experiments. The module supports either 980nm or 1480nm pump and three different working modes (ACC, AGC, and APC).  The module is compact packaged and exhibits utmost stability and high reliability. INST’s Mini-EDFA module supports L-Band and C-Band and it can satisfy different requirements of users.

INST’s Mini-EDFA module can be easily integrated into an optical systems and can be provided in two different configurations. The EDFA module is driven by a power supply of DC5V, and supports user defined output power value and read the dynamic operational parameters of module through RS232 serial port communications with host computers.
