Stereolitography (SLA) rapid prototyping

      This technology entails producing parts by solidifying liquid epoxy resin; the object is built layer by layer using ultraviolet laser that polymerizes the raw material.

       This technology yields high-precision prototypes ,facilitating the creation of functional models, providedthe mechanical and thermal trials are not too stringent .this results in painted ,transparent ,metalized finish and master parts suitable for manufacturing silicone moulds.

 

Stereo lithography (stereolithography) SLA rapid prototyping|modelling technology advantages and disadvantages

Advantages: high accuracy, can accurate surface and a smooth effect, accuracy can reach each layer thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm

Faults: can use material is limited, and cannot be multi-color molding

Sintering (SLS) rapid prototyping
