Rapid prototyping involves producing parts or objects from a 3D CAD design .they are produced by machines using different technologies and materials, yielding a finished appearance that perfectly simulates a batch part. Production lead times vary from 2 to 5 days.

 

 

Stereo lithography (stereolithography) SLA rapid prototyping|modelling technology advantages and disadvantages

Advantages: high accuracy, can accurate surface and a smooth effect, accuracy can reach each layer thickness of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm

Faults: can use material is limited, and cannot be multi-color molding

Mainly wooden box and carton box.Wooden is what we usually use .Yet it depends on the size and material of the products .

For products with special surface treatment,like painting,silk-screen printing,anodizing and chroming,etc.In order to avoid damages to the surface caused by the heated plastic packing or vapour, we'll wrap them up with paper first ,and then pack with thick white foam at outer side.
