Product Description

Pulse radar level gauge BBZ RD5X Series (26GHZ) transmits narrow microwave pulses from the radar antenna, spreading at the speed of light in space, contacting with measured medium surface, part of its energy is reflectedback and received by the same antenna. The time interval between transmitted pulse and received pulse is proportional to the distancefrom the antenna to measured medium surface. However, due to the fact that the elecromagnetic wave is transmitted at extremely high speed, which leads to the tiny time interval (nanosecond level) and makes it difficult to be identified.

BBZ RD5X series of radar level gauge have adopted a special demodulation technology, enabling itself to detect such tiny time interval between pulse emission and reception correctly, and eventually generate accurate measurement result.

Applications

Pulse radar acid alkali tanks level gauge BBZ RD55 is widely used in various acid, alkali tanks and other corrosive liquid.

When installed on a small tank, the beam angle smaller than 6G determine smaller actual measuring dead band by installing the appropriate short pipe.

BBZ RD55 has corrosion resistant and certain anti-coagulant properties, but also have excellent performance of 26G pulse radar measuring tank at close range.
