This brazing alloy is commonly used in applications where silver white color is advantageous in combinations of color and the corrosion resistance of high silver and the low content of zinc is desired. Because of its zinc content, can be used to join iron and nickel based alloys. The low zinc content minimize the zinc fuming when brazing is performed in a furnace, especially in a controlled environment without flux. The low zinc content also causes little changes in brightness of enamel after brazing.

 

 

Particular characteristics:

 

HZ-Ag65B is a intermediate silver alloy with a slight tendency to liquefy when heated slowly via its melting range.
