In cakes used for display or in some decorating competitions, a cake dummy can save the decorator time and money.

These solid cake dummies/foams can be iced with buttercream icing, royal icing or covered with fondant to create beautiful display cakes. Or to add fake layers to wedding cakes to make them apper larger.
