Vacuum Carburizing Furnace
Brief
This vacuum carburizing furnace can be used for carburizing heat treatment process of a variety of metal parts of aerospace industry and other machinery industries, such as 18CrNi8,12Cr2Ni4A and 12Cr2Ni3A high alloy carburizing steel, can also be used for quenching after carburizing, oil quenching for die steels, precision bearings, fuel pumps, nozzles machinery parts, precision machine parts, etc.
Working principle
The heat treated parts is put into the vacuum furnace, vacuumize and heat, pure the furnace chamber, heat up to the required carburizing temperature, then lead into the hydrocarbons ( such as propane ) for carburizing. Later cut off the carburizing agent after a while time, then vacuumize again to diffuse the atmosphere. In this way to achieve high temperature carburizing ( 1040℃), greatly shorten the carburizing time, internal oxidation won’t appear during the carburizing layers, and carbon content of every layer is same, to ensure the blind holes and eyelets get homogeneous carburizing layer.
Advantages
1. Fast infiltration speed and high surface hardness.
2. Heat elements are arranged evenly in the heating chamber, with high temperature uniformity.
3. Big loading capacity with low cost.
4. Heating chamber and cooling chamber are separated, high production efficiency.
5. Good cooling uniformity, small distortion.
6. The carburizing gas nozzles are arranged evenly on the heating chamber,to ensure carburizing layer thickness uniformity.
