Non-Invasive Inductive Moisture Meter

 Brief Description

This is a non-invasive and inductive instrument to measure percentage moisture for mainly drywall, masonry, softwood & hardwood instantly and conveniently. The sensor panel at the back of this meter emits and picks up electro-magnetic signals through the material to be tested. The reading displayed is the average value of the moisture content from the entire surface area and the maximum depth of penetration. Moisture which is closer to the surface has a greater weight on the average value than the moisture close to the maximum depth of penetration.

This instrument is handy and the readings are shown very clearly at the large LCD with backlight. In addition to the number readings, this instrument equips a LED bar indicator to give different color signals for different moisture levels. And there is a buzzer alarm for out of range measurements. Moreover, compared with traditional models, it checks and adjusts for auto calibration and therefore manual calibration is no longer necessary.

This product is very useful when the moisture content of wooden materials is concerned and important. It is widely applicable to different industries such as building & construction works, decorations, furniture, paper making, forestry, wood craftsman, etc. Inductive measurement method can give rapid measurements and will not damage the samples being tested.
