BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The model is constructed of hard wood using plank on frame construction method by skillful artisans with hundred hours of hand carved and hand painted as real ship.

It is totally hand made and not kit but fully assembled and ready for immediate presentation or display.

HISTORY

The Le Protecteur  was built in 1757 at Toulon and launched in 1760. This ship was a 64-gun French Ship-of-the-Line under near full sail on the open sea.  

Le Protecteur  took part in the Battle of Grenada in 1779, and was struck from French navy lists in 1787. She was furthermore commanded by Mr de Grasse Limermont and was part of the count of Estaing's fleet during the Grenada campain on the 6th of July 1779. 

  Model will be extremely well packaged in a sturdy wooden crate and put in a carton box for maximum protection.
