The Shearometer is an optional measurement device for testing drilling fluid gel strength. It is used for testing grid structure forming from clay particle’s strength when drilling fluid is stable.The initial gel strength and 10-minute gel strength after testing are meaningful for drilling and grommet. QL shearometer provides two pontoons with 35.56mm inner diameter and 5g weight to test drilling fluid’s initial and 10-minute gel strength.
