1.It is commonly used to make resistance wire because it has a high resistivity and resistance to oxidation at high temperatures. When used as a heating element, resistance wire is usually wound into coils. 

2.It is also used in ceramics as an internal support structure to help some elements of clay sculptures hold their shape while they are still soft., because its ability to withstand the high temperatures that occur when a clay work is fired in a kiln. 

3.It can be used in electrical appliance industry.

4.It is also widely used in ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements, cartridge elements.
