1.1 Introduction
THGZQW-700V/100A off-board EV charger series are high reliability products
manufactured by Tonhe Company based on technical experiences accumulated over
many years and advanced production and management system, and are extensively
applicable to EV battery charging and swapping stations with different voltage classes as
well as to the battery pack charging and maintenance for the other devices using battery
pack, such as emergency supply and UPS.
The major components of this product include high frequency switching power supply and
microcomputer monitoring battery charger which are independently developed by our
company. The high frequency switching power supply and charger are developed based
on internationally advanced voltage type double-loop resonance soft-switching technology
in combination with single chip control, featuring such advantages as high efficiency,
small volume and light weight; the monitoring unit adopts distributed control mode to
control risk and improve reliability. The monitoring unit is provided with friendly
man-machine interface featuring simple and convenient operation (two interfaces in
Chinese and English are available), so that the user can inquire and set system
parameters by clicking touch screen. Intelligent management and multi-protection are
adopted to significantly improve the stability and reliability of system. This product is
designed to automatically complete the accurate management of the charging voltage and
current of battery, guarantee the optimum operation state of battery and extend the
service life of battery pack.
This product is designed in modular approach. Equipped with RS485 and CAN Ethernet
interfaces, this system can communicate in coordination with background computer to
realize the functions "remote control, remoter metering, remote signaling and remote
regulating". Being adapted to the requirements for charging EV, this is a new type power
supply product in line with the development trend of new energy technology.
