Dongguan Vliya Water Treatment Equipment Co., Ltd.
Municipal Water Desalination
To ensure a consistent and reliable water supply, many communities, water authorities, and private companies are turning to desalination.
Implementing an efficient system under a cost-effective business model can greatly reduce the cost of clean water. VLIYA
Water’s desalination systems can produce drinking water from almost any source, including the sea, as well as surface water and brackish water. The systems are tailor-made based on water quality requirements and the specific characteristics of the site’s feed water.
VLIYA Water designs, manufactures, and supplies modular, containerized water treatment plants for the municipal sector. Our containerized modules, which come already assembled, wired, and plumbed, are specially designed for fast and easy installation and commissioning. The skid-mounted prefiltration systems and reverse osmosis units are shipped to the site after complete validation testing at VLIYA Water’s production facility. The systems are supplied with central control systems for easy operation and remote monitoring.
VLIYA Water also custom-designs, manufactures, and supplies state-of-the-art, full-scale desalination plants with capacities from 500 to 20,000 m3/day.
Industrial Wastewater and Reclamation Desalination
VLIYA Water designs, manufactures, and supplies wastewater treatment and reclamation systems for industrial use. Wastewater reclamation lets factories minimize discharge and save on water costs through the reuse of effluent in various processes, and lets municipalities reuse effluent from biological wastewater treatment plants for irrigation.
Each system is individually designed and built, taking into consideration wastewater characteristics, effluent quality requirements, and potential for effluent recycling or reuse.
The systems, designed to offer optimal process reliability and consistency, offer a high level of automation and control, with minimal use of chemicals and minimization of waste from the treatment process.
Typical technologies include:
Sedimentation — gravity settling of suspended solids
Flotation — removal of colloidal and dispersed particles and materials
Conventional filtration — media or activated carbon
Ultrafiltration (UF) — removal of residual suspended solids, colloidal and organic matter, and bacteria and viruses before RO desalination
Reverse osmosis (RO)
Biological treatment
Process Water Desalination
VLIYA Water designs, manufactures, and commissions advanced systems for the production of process water. The systems are able to treat water from a wide variety of water sources, including brackish water and seawater, and deal with turbidity, salinity, and a wide range of contaminants, including arsenic, nitrates, and more.
VLIYA Water’s desalination systems supply process water for a wide variety of applications, including permeate for cooling and other uses, and demineralized water for high-pressure steam boilers. Systems can condition permeate for potable use, and more.
Seawater and Reverse Osmosis (SWRO)
SWRO systems can be tailor-made based on water-quality requirements and site-specific feed-water characteristics.
Seawater desalination systems incorporate energy recovery systems that reduce energy requirements by up to 40%, resulting in a more economical production of drinking water. RWL Water supplies small to large desalination plants, with capacities of 5 to 100,000 m3 per day. To reduce costs, energy recovery is undertaken with pressure exchangers or turbine pumps.
Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (BWRO)
BWRO systems are able to treat water from a wide variety of water sources, including surface water and wells, and can deal with turbidity, salinity, and a wide range of contaminants, including arsenic, nitrates, and more.
We specialize in advanced membrane-based technologies that allow the removal of a wide variety of dissolved materials from water and effluent.
Technologies typically used in process water, SWRO, and BWRO desalination systems include:
Reverse osmosis (RO)
Screen and media filtration
Ultrafiltration (UF)
Media filtration
Activated carbon
Ion-selective resins
Disinfection
