The seawater desalination plant is manufactured to eliminate a large amount of salts and other minerals from sea water using a method called reverse osmosis. The method of reverse osmosis consists of employing a high pressure pump to add high pressure to salty water, forcing it through semi-porous membranes and denying salts and other organics from flowing through. The ocean’s specific TDS and its temperature indicate the amount of pressure that needs to be added. The membranes are only tasked to remove dissolved solids while dividing the feed water into purified water and rejected concentrated salts. The salts and other organics are thrown into the brine stream then flushed into a drain. At last, we get purified water that has 99% less dissolved salts. This seawater desalination plant has the power to purify water with extremely high TDS.
Seawater reverse osmosis plants are scalable from Yachts to Municipalities. These systems should be manufactured with a proper process design, and it is important to choose the correct construction materials to handle seawater which is highly corrosive. We use materials such as SS316L. Choosing the proper construction material guarantees a longer operating life and less maintenance. Ultra filtration system utilizes a different molar weight cut-off (MWCO) to filter and separate a variety of small suspended particles, organic resin in the water, and reduces the TOC.
It can be used before the RO systemas pretreatment of raw water, and can be used at the end of ultrapure water system to remove small particles in pure water. The removal rate of organic matter is up to 99% and SDI<1, so that can increase water purification acquisition of the RO system, and extend the life span of RO membrane.
UF uses “Inside-out” pressure type of hollow fiber membrane silk. The equipment could automatically collectwater, back flush and so on with extremely easy operation to reduce the unstable factors caused by human operation and complicated management.
