when sunny days, solar panels produce electricity which will flow through controller, battery. Off grid inverter take electricity from battery for loads. Excess electricity will be storage in battery. when no sun and low battery, then off grid inverter take electricity from battery for loads. 

Especially, our off grid inverter with battery priority & state grid for back-up function. That means, when no sun and low battery , inverter can auto transfer to state grid to take power for AC loads . This function is to ensure your electrical appliances normal operation if bad weather last so long.
