Base on years' experience and technology, Henan Fote Machinery Spiral Classifier are designed to provide the most

effective pool area and overflow velocity requirements. Spiral classifier can be divided into single - spiral classifier and

double - spiral classifier.

1. High weir type: The top side of the spiral blade is higher than the overflow level and the spiral center of the overflow end is lower than the overflow level. This type of spiral classifier is mainly used for classifying ores whose overflow granularity is 25 - 90Mesh.

2. Immersed type: The whole spiral blade of the overflow end is immersed under the overflow level and this type of spiral separator is mainly used for classifying ores whose overflow granularity is 90 - 200Mesh.

Application

Spiral Classifier is widely applied to separate the particles into different product grades according to size in the complete

closed loop together with ball mill in the mining industry, separate light particles from heavy particles in the gravity

separation process, separate fine particles and liquid from coarse particles in the metal ore dressing process, separate the

slurry or liquid from solid particles in ore dressing plant.

Working Principle

Different solid granularities have different gravity and thus have different dropping speed. The fine ore granularities

floating in the water will overflow and the big ones will sink to the bottom, and then discharge from the upper part by

spiral pushing. It can filter the granularities from the machine and then spin the rough particles to charging part by spiral

vane and discharge the fine granularities from the overflow pipe.
