3. Operation

1. Fill the tube with the testing liquid until 15mL, add one piece of reagent and close tube with lid, then shake up till the reagent is dissolved.

2. Then open the tube and put tube above the color chart, viewing sample from top to bottom and comparing sample color with the color chart, same color result is showing proportion of total residual chlorine.

Notes:

1) The PH of the testing liquid must be controlled between 5.0-8.0, and temperature of testing liquid 15-25ºC.

2) Other oxidant in testing liquid will affect the result.

3) Finish the color comparison step within 5 minutes after adding the reagent.
