4.Screwdriver is the assembling and unassembling tool of wood screw and it has I-shaped and cross-shaped two kinds because of the two kinds of recessed on the head of the wood screw. Selection and use:

1.Self-tapping screw is suitable for the connecting and fastening of metal material with prebored holes. It can tap inner thread automatically on the metal and complete thread engagement to play the role of fastening. Because the bottom diameter of its thread is large and its buried depth is shallow. Because its thread pitch is small and the wood structure between each two thread is less. Therefore, self-tapping screw is dangerousand unreliable for wood connected elements especially loose wood.

2.Fine thread drywall screw is perfectly suitable for connecting and fastening the metal frames and gypsum board. But it has the same flaws with self-tapping screw. Fine thread drywall screw has large head diameter and bad head burying ability, thus it will not as flat as the surface of the connected elements after installation.

3.Traditional wood screw needs prebored holes on the wood connected elements before installation or the wood will be easy to crack. Traditional wood screw is not processed with thermal treatment and it is easy to be broken by screwing with electric tool yet manual installation will cost much effort.

4.Chipboard screw is a new type of wood screw and it should be installed by electric tools. It has simple thread design and it cannot solve the wood cracking problem. It has no any advantages on screwing speed and screwing torque.
