Filler Master Batch

CaCO3 masterbatches are calcium carbonate concentrates evenly dispersed in polymer matrix by means and in the presence of special additives.

Also known as filler masterbatches or filler additives, they normally come in granules (pellets) to be mixed with virgin or recycled polyolefin resins during extrusion, injection or blow molding to displace a part of a filled resin, improve plastic properties and cut down production costs.

Adding ratio may range from 5% to 60% depending on the particular product application and processing conditions.
