Product Details of Gabion Stone Cage

Gabions are wire fabric containers, filled with stone at the site of use, to form flexible, permeable, monolithic structures for earth retention.

1. Wire Diameter:

(1) Mesh wire diameter range: 2mm-4mm
(2) Edge wire diameter range: 2.7mm-4.4mm
(3) Binding wire diameter range less than mesh wire, in 2.2mm generally.

2. Wire tensile strength: not less than 38kg/m2, 380N/mm.

3. Material: High quality low carbon steel wire, galvanized wire, stainless steel wire, PVC coated wire

4. Weaving: Link and weaving is simple, artistic and practical

5. Standard: ASTM-975-97 and BS EN 10223-2:1998

6. Surface Treatment:

(1) Electro galvanized, zinc coating is Max. 10g/m2, with bad performance of anti-corrosion
(2) Hot-dip galvanized Zinc coating is Max. up to 300g/m2, with better performance of anti-corrosion
(3) Galfan (zinc-aluminium alloy), including zinc-5% Al mixed rare earth alloy wire and Zinc-10% Al mixed rare earth alloy wire, the best performance of anti-corrosion.
(4) PVC coated, PVC coating is 1.0mm generally.

8. Diaphragm: 1 diaphragm every 1 meter is located in the direction of length of gabions.

9. Dimension: 2mx1mx1m, 3mx1mx1m, 4mx1mx1m, 2mx1mx0.5m, 4mx1mx0.5m,offer sizes as per clients' requirements.

10. Characteristic: economy, easily to be installed, A strong performance of withstanding natural damage, corrosion resistance, good permeability, stacked to save transportation cost.
