Different tracks with different speed         

This device demonstrates the pendulum and linear motion. There are two tracks when the rubber ball drops down, the one is a straight line and the other is a arc curve. Although distance of the arc curve is the longest, but the rubber ball's  falling time is shorter, that is brachistochrone.
