Tanyang Congou Black Tea
Tan Yang Congou black tea, also name Panyong Congou, was invented in 1851, it has more than 150 years history. It is one congou type black tea produced in Tanyang, Fujian province. Tan Yang Congou along with Zheng He Congou and Bai Lin Congou are seen as three most famous congou teas of Fujian province.
This tea is produced in Tanyang County, Fujian Province, with 500 years of history in China. It won the golden medal in the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. At that time, Tanyang Congou was very popular among the Royals in Europe. The tea leaf is full in shape, This tea has a heavy fruit flavour with no bitterness and grassy taste.

Taste:
The fragrance of the dried leaves is quite reminiscent of smoked bacon but once infused, the tea has a nice and strong rose-like floral sweetness which gradually strengthens after a few sips.
