[Business policy]
<To present Japanese fermented foodstuffs from a modern design perspective>
[Company overview]
Established in 2001.
Although it's a traditional beverage, Amazake made from "koji" (a kind of rice mold) was largely unappreciated even in Japan. Adding a modern design twist to this traditional drink, the company opened specialist shops in Ginza, Niigata and Jiyugaoka, attracting attention across Japan.
This prompted a merger between the sake brewing company and companies producing miso paste and pickled goods. These companies came together to form a business group, with the aim of presenting Japanese fermented foodstuffs through modern design.
