The Vacuum Decompression Concentrator, also known as a vacuum concentrator, is a concentration device used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals and etc for concentration of liquid materials. It can also be used for alcohol recovery and simple reflux extraction.
Working PrincipleThe liquid material was heated up in the Vacuum Decompression Concentrator (Tank) to boiling, the water (or other solvent ) is evaporated. And the evaporated secondary steam passed through the condenser and cooler and was collected in a liquid receiving tank, and the foam containing the effective components in the evaporated secondary steam was separated and refluxed back into the concentrator tank by the gas-liquid separation. The liquid material achieved concentration during the evaporation process.
Structure and FeaturesThe Vacuum Decompression Concentrator (Tank) mainly consists of a jacketed concentrator tank, a gas-liquid separator, a tube-type condenser, a coil-type cooler, and a liquid receiving tank.
The equipment is generally made of stainless steel, and can be customized according to requirements.
The specifications of the decompression concentrator tank are generally 50L, 100L, 200L, 300L, 500L, 700L, 1000L, and 2000L. The condenser is tubular type, and the cooler is coil type. Specific configurations can be added to better suit the requirements.
