Double-effect Countercurrent and Falling Film Evaporator for Caustic Soda Concentration
Equipment: Double-effect countercurrent and falling film evaporator;
Application: caustic soda concentration, from 32% to 50%;
Output capacity: 40ton/day, 50,000ton/annual caustic soda (as 100%);
Fabricate material: product wetted parts adopt Ni, non wetted parts adopt SS 316L or carbons steel per actual need;
Heating medium: 0.8Mpa (G) saturated live steam.
Project Description
50,000ton/annual 50% caustic soda concentration system, double-effect countercurrent and falling film type process.
Process TechnologyA Double-effect countercurrent and falling film evaporator is adopted to increase caustic soda liquor from 32% to 50%, and then the 50% finished product caustic soda liquor is cooled and obtained. The heating medium is 0.8Mpa (G) saturated live steam.
Equipment Description1 set of double-effect countercurrent and falling film evaporator of production capacity 50,000ton/annual NaOH (as 100%), is able to meet the following demands:
1). the caustic soda liquid is concentrated from 32% to 50%, and is cooled down to finished product 50% caustic soda;
2). All components in the plant are well designed to ensure safety in production.
3). The quality of the finished product 50% caustic soda liquid is above standard GB209-2018 Industrial Sodium Hydroxide.
4). The main configuration of the plant is as below:
a. One set of Double-effect countercurrent and falling film evaporator, which was heated medium-pressure steam;
b. One set of heat recovery system recovering heat from caustic soda liquor and condensate water;
c. One set of finished product cooling system;
d. One set of DSC control system.
