It has the following design characteristics - ball, angular contact, double row, closed type (seals on both sides). The double row ball bearing is bi-directional. Bearing 256707 is installed in the front hub of more modern VAZ models (Kalina, Grant).
Its main area of application is the front hub bearing of VAZ 2108, 2109, 2110, 2111, 2112. It has the following design characteristics - ball, angular contact, double row, closed type (seals on both sides). The double row ball bearing is bi-directional. Bearing 256707 is installed in the front hub of more modern VAZ models (Kalina, Grant).
These bearings carry double-sided axial loads. They are manufactured in the 6th class of accuracy with a contact angle of 36 °. They consist of an outer ring, two inner rings, two polyamide cages, two sets of balls, two combined rubber-reinforced seals and are filled with grease. During operation, the bearings do not require additional lubrication and adjustment. The gap between the inner rings during installation is selected by tightening with a torque of 18-25 kgf.m, which ensures the rigidity of the support and the ease of rotation of the wheel. The bearings have a redesigned double-sided two-stage seal with a centrifugal effect, which improves the dust protection of the bearing during operation.
