BIPC is an inert polymer in the form of cylinders. It has been especially designed for use in packed
or partially packed and fluidised beds operated in the up-flow counter-flow mode. The polymer has
optimum specific gravity. It can improve the distribution of regenerants during the downflow
regeneration stage.
BIPC can also be used in down flow processes with upflow regeneration, where it protects the
strainers during the regeneration and improves the flow distribution during service.
BD301 is a macroporous weak base anion exchange resin with styrene-DVB matrix, having tertiary
amine groups. BD301 has superior kinetics and greater resistance to oxidation and osmotic shock. It
has high regeneration efficiency with low amount of regenerant and yields high operating capacities.
Large organic molecules are also readily removed by the resin and easily eluted due to macroporous
structure of BD301. It is supplied in free base form. BD301 series contains three products: BD301
for general applications; BD301FC for double compartment bed and floating bed system; BD301SC
for dual bed system.
