How to use oxygen pressure reducer correctly
The following steps are required to properly use an oxygen pressure reducer:
### Pre-use inspection -
**Check the appearance**: check whether the pressure reducer is damaged, deformed, corroded, etc., to ensure that its appearance is intact. At the same time, check whether the connection parts are tight, there is no loosening, air leakage phenomenon.
- **Check the pressure gauge**: Observe whether the pointer of the pressure gauge is at zero, if not at zero, need to adjust or replace the pressure gauge. And check whether the glass of the pressure gauge is clear and the scale is readable.
- **Check the valves**: Confirm whether the inlet and outlet valves of the pressure reducer can be opened and closed flexibly, and whether the sealing performance of the valves is good.
### Installation and Connection -
**Choose the appropriate connection**: According to the type of interface between the oxygen cylinder and the equipment to be used, choose the appropriate connection, such as threaded connection, ferrule connection and so on. Make sure the connection is firm to prevent gas leakage.
- **Installation of pressure gauge**: Install the pressure gauge correctly on the pressure reducer, and take care to tighten the gauge to avoid loosening during use and affecting the accuracy of the readings.

### Operation after use

- **Disassembly and storage**: After closing the valve of the oxygen cylinder, wait for a period of time to let the residual gas in the pressure reducer empty, and then disassemble the connection between the pressure reducer and the oxygen cylinder.
