I. Component Description

II. Purpose

The distribution binding wire made of aluminum clad steel is used to fix the wire in the top slot of the pin insulator. Compared with top clip insulators or manual wire binding, the effect of fixing wires with distribution wire binding is better.

III. Product Features

① Compared with manual wire binding, power distribution wire binding has a better effect on fixing wires. The design of power distribution binding allows for a certain degree of controlled movement of unbroken wires, and under certain conditions, can also restore the wires to their original positions. The ability of tied wires to yield and recover under different load conditions is called "resilience", and every distribution tied wire has this characteristic

② Material strength: The binding wire is made of aluminum clad steel or aluminum alloy wire, and the material strength is much higher than that of manual binding wire made of soft aluminum;

③ The distribution binding wire is closely matched with the insulator, which can resist upward loads and prevent the wire from jumping off the insulator;

④ For impact loads: The elastic binding wire is like an absorber of impact loads, which reduces the load and safely holds the wire. For various vibration situations, such as low-frequency oscillation, high-frequency wind induced vibration and oscillation, the binding wire will not loosen and will not cause wire wear;

⑤ Strong consistency: precise design makes it easy to install the binding wire correctly, and the pre formed technology in the factory ensures that the binding wire fits tightly with the conductor and insulator, with strong consistency;

⑦ Double support: In a double wishbone structure, when the conductor crosses a highway, railway, or at a turning point, double support binding can securely fix the conductor at the top of the insulator;

⑧ Line angle:

a) Overall guiding principle: On vertically installed insulators, distribution tie wires usually allow a line angle of less than 10°. When the insulator is installed on a slope at a certain angle to the vertical direction, a larger angle may be allowed, depending on the actual slope of the insulator. Using side tie wires and distribution tie wires on the same structure will also affect the allowable line angle of the structure;

b) In general, the conductor should be located in the insulator groove, and the maximum actual line angle allowed for wire binding is related to various limiting factors, such as conductor size, tension, span, sag angle, insulator type and direction, etc. For more information about the issue of small line angles, please consult the company.
