Product Usage
The down lead clamp is mainly used for fixing and installing OPGW optical cables when leading wires on the tower. For example, at the joint pole (tower) of the optical cable, the fixing function of the optical cable from the clamping fittings to the installation of the splicing protection box; The optical cable is led down from the tower to the underground pipeline, cable trench, direct burial, and fixed down into the computer room. To avoid damage to the optical cable caused by friction with towers or other objects under the influence of wind, in order to protect the safety of the optical cable.
Usage method
The bending radius of the path through which OPGW passes shall not be less than its specified minimum bending radius. The down conductor clamp is generally installed every 1.5-2.0 meters.
Ordering Notice
a.Corresponding optical cable diameter or model needs to be provided.
b.The down conductor clamp is divided into two types: pole and tower. If it is used for poles, the pole diameter needs to be provided.
c.If used in ordinary small circuits, hollow steel strip OPGW down conductor clamps can also be selected.
d.If used in large power lines, to ensure safety, reinforced down conductor clamps can also be selected.
Usage conditions
The fixing function of the optical cable line and the first and last towers at the optical cable joint pole (tower) is to guide the optical cable from the clamping fittings to the installation of the splice protection box; The optical cable is led down from the tower to the underground pipeline, cable trench, direct burial, and fixed down into the computer room. To avoid damage to the optical cable caused by friction with towers or other objects under the influence of wind, in order to protect the safety of the optical cable.
Installation method
The connection of the tension free part (after the tension clamp) of OPGW from the top of the tower usually guides the connection of the lower line. The downward part of each OPGW enters the pre designed splice box for splicing. For terminal connection, a single OPGW down conductor on the line side comes down from the gantry and enters the junction box to connect with the underground incoming optical cable entering the substation. For the connection of tension towers (J1 tower, J3 tower), the down conductor is led down from the line clamp to the tower body and installed uniformly on the tower leg material on the larger side of the line to keep the down conductor smooth and not collide with the tower material. It is necessary to use a down conductor clamp to fix it on the inner side of the tower body material.
