PHS-01 Pendulum Hammer Striking Tester

IEC 60068-2-75 provides three international standardized test methods for determining the ability of a specimen to withstand rigorous and stringent impacts and is used primarily to establish an acceptable level of robustness when assessing the safety of a product. PHS-01 Pendulum Hammer Striking Tester is the pendulum hammer method that has an auto lifting pendulum hammer that can be automatically released at different impact heights. It is used for determination of the ability of a sample to withstand specific severities of impact.

PHS-01 Pendulum Hammer Striking Tester

Background

IEC 60068-2-75 is an international standard that specifically pertains to the testing of mechanical robustness for equipment and products. This standard outlines test methods for determining the ability of a specimen to withstand rigorous and stringent impacts. It is used to assess the mechanical robustness and safety of products, particularly in environments where they may be subject to mechanical stresses or impacts. The standard provides guidelines and procedures for conducting these tests to ensure product reliability and safety under various conditions.

Application

The PHS-01 Pendulum Hammer Striking Tester employs the pendulum hammer method. This equipment features an auto-lifting pendulum hammer that can be automatically released at various impact heights. Its primary purpose is to assess the capacity of a sample or specimen to withstand specific levels of impact severity. The tester helps in determining how well a material or product can endure impacts, which is valuable information for evaluating its durability and suitability for various applications.

Technical Features

PHS-01 has a steady structure and is mainly composed of control box, pendulum lifting and releasing unit, and sample clamping unit.

It's a PLC controlled unit (industrial level stable) and HMI touch screen operated. Synchronized belt driven pendulum lifting and magnetic pendulum releasing design. By simply clicking the impact energy on screen, the system will automatically lift the hammer to the corresponding height. Then when test start, the pendulum automatically releases from the latch and impact the sample. Sample mounting fixture is strictly standard conformed and it can be adjusted with plywood thickness and can be turned about as well, to keep sample perpendicular to impact hammer direction.

● PLC control inside & HMI touch screen

● Pendulum automatically lifting and electromagnetic releasing

● Impact height is automatically reached

● Different striking elements available

● Dual language display available
