Characteristics of L80-13Cr:
1. Corrosion resistance: In humid CO2 environments, 13Cr L80 exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, effectively extending the service life of oil well pipes and reducing maintenance costs.
2. Mechanical properties: L80-13Cr has high strength and good toughness. Its tensile strength exceeds 655Mpa, yield strength is between 552-655Mpa, elongation is greater than 15%, and hardness reaches 23-24HRC.
3. Chemical composition: The chemical composition of L80-13Cr includes carbon (C): 0.15-0.22%, chromium (Cr): 12-14%, nickel (Ni) ≤ 0.5%, iron (Fe): balance, manganese (Mn): 0.25-1%, silicon (Si) ≤ 1%, copper (Cu) ≤ 0.25%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.02%, and sulfur (S) ≤ 0.01%. The combination of these components endows L80-13Cr with excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
4. Heat treatment: By quenching and tempering, the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of L80-13Cr can be further improved. This heat treatment process is suitable for various welding processes, thereby enhancing its applicability in different application scenarios.
5. Production process: In terms of production process, the deformation characteristics of extruded L80-13Cr seamless pipes are superior to those of oblique rolling process. The surface quality of extruded pipes is better, while oblique rolling pipes are prone to surface oblique microcracks.
