KXT flexible rubber joint

Product use:

KXT flexible rubber joint has three types,KXT-1, KXT-2, KXT-3, and pump, valve, fire equipment connection, mainly used for: fire, water supply and drainage engineering, chemical oil pipelines, pipelines with large vibration, cold and hot change frequently; It mainly plays the role of shock absorption and can also make the pipeline freely expand and protect the safe operation of the pipeline in production.


Implementation standards:

1, KXT type flexible rubber joint tensile strength and elongation at break determination, according to GB/T528 provisions.

2, KXT rubber joint material hardness determination, according to the provisions of GB/T531, brittleness test at ambient temperature according to the provisions of GB/T1682.

3. The determination of the adhesion and strength of rubber material and fabric cord fabric in the process of vulcanization is carried out according to the provisions of GB/T532. Routine maintenance of rubber joints Anti-aging standards and repair and replacement can be carried out according to the specified details of GB/T3512.

4, KXT type flexible rubber joint, material acid resistance, alkali resistance test according to GB/T1690 provisions. (Quality testing can also be performed according to EPDM EPDM standard)

5, the hydraulic test shall be carried out according to the provisions of 6.3 in GB/T5563. The vacuum test shall be carried out according to the relevant provisions in Chapter 2-5 of GB/T5567.

6, after the installation of the product passed the acceptance, the flow of domestic water; Water quality inspection shall be carried out according to GB/T5749 and GB/T17219.


Installation method:

Note: 1, rubber joint flange in line with GB/T9115.1(RF) standard. Strictly use non-standard products that do not conform to the working pressure of the pipeline, the pipeline medium, and the connection mode can not be blindly used or universal for installation.

2. When installing the rubber joint, the screw of the bolt should be extended to the outside of the joint, and the bolt of the end face of each flange should be repeatedly and evenly tightened by the method of diagonal pressure to prevent pressure deviation. The wire joint should be tightened with a standard wrench, and do not use an extension rod to make the live joint slip, slip edge and fracture, and should be checked regularly to avoid loosening caused by disconnection or water seepage.

3, high-rise water supply and drainage engineering, high pressure fire pipe. When installing, fix the hanger and bracket, and do not let the joint bear the weight and axial force of the pipeline itself, otherwise the joint should be equipped with an anti-pulling device (its bearing force must be greater than the axial force of the pipeline).

4, when the displacement of the pipeline is greater than the maximum compensation of the joint, the number of joints should be increased to parallel the displacement, it is strictly prohibited to adjust the excess of the pipeline, so that the joint is in the limit of the bending displacement and deviation state, and can not exceed the limit of expansion, displacement, deflection, etc.

5. After the rubber joint is subjected to pressure for the first time (such as before installation pressure test) or before being used again for a long time, the bolts should be re-pressurized and tightened before being put into operation.

6, after the installation of rubber joints, should avoid high temperature, ozone, oil and acid and alkali environment. A sunshade frame should be built for pipes used outdoors or facing the sun and wind, and exposure, rain and wind erosion are strictly prohibited. Do not paint or wrap insulation materials on the surface of the joint. Due to the aging problem of rubber products, it should be checked and replaced in time.
