Acetyltributyl citrate is a colorless odorless oily liquid. Melting point -59 °C, boiling point 327 °C. Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents. Compatible with a variety of cellulose, vinyl resins, chlorinated rubber, etc. Partially compatible with cellulose acetate and butyl cellulose acetate.
