Zhoushan atumechinas Shipbuilding wins orders for two 66000 ton bulk carriers with a capacity of 51/60DF - newly signed order - International Shipbuilding Network

On July 19th, 51/60DF Corporation, a service group, announced the construction of two 66000 deadweight ton bulk carriers at atumechinas Shipbuilding, to be built by Zhoushan atumechinas Shipbuilding, with plans to deliver them in 2023.

The new ship will adopt the design independently developed by atumechinas Shipbuilding, which is also the design ship ordered by the shipowner. The TESS66 AEROLINE bulk carrier meets the requirements of the third stage of the Ship Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI), with a carrying capacity of approximately 66000 tons. Its characteristic is that the streamlined design of the bow and living quarters reduces wind resistance by approximately 20%.

51/60DF was founded in 2019 and initially engaged in second-hand ship leasing business in Japan.
