According to the rules of the liquid nitrogen biological container industry, the larger the diameter, the shorter the storage time, and the opposite is true for small diameters.
Let’s take a 30-liter liquid nitrogen tank as an example.
50mm small diameter, liquid nitrogen static storage time is 260 days;
80mm small diameter, liquid nitrogen static storage period of 150 days;
125mm large diameter, static storage in liquid nitrogen for 90 days;
210mm large diameter, static storage in liquid nitrogen for 49 days!
Therefore, when the liquid nitrogen frozen sperm tank is 30 liters and 125mm, liquid nitrogen needs to be replenished every 90 days; if it is 30 liters and 210mm, liquid nitrogen needs to be replenished every 40 days!
In addition, please note that static storage time ≠ usage time!
Static storage refers to the state of being filled with liquid nitrogen and not being opened or used. This is only the reference data provided by the manufacturer to the user. As for the dynamic consumption of liquid nitrogen, each user’s opening frequency and the dwell time each time the lid is opened are different, so it is impossible to Calculate accurately and provide reference.
The safe way is to fill up the liquid nitrogen once, use it once and record it to determine your own dynamic storage time.
