PetroChina Deepland Taco 1 Well is located in the Tarim Oilfield and is a major project for PetroChina to implement the national deep land strategy. It is expected to drill at a depth of 11100 meters, with a designed drilling and completion period of 457 days, and will advance into the underground palace of ten thousand meters. With the continuous deepening of ten thousand meter level ultra deep well automated drilling rigs, temperature and pressure have sharply increased, and the difficulty of drilling has also increased exponentially. The project not only has extremely high requirements for drill bits, drilling tools, and solid control technology, but also poses a great challenge to the reliability of the drilling rig's electrical control system.

In the Shendi Taco 1 well project, the 120DB electric control system and core frequency conversion equipment used for the 12000 meter ultra deep well drilling rig are all HD2000 series water-cooled frequency converter products independently developed by Hewang Electric, with a total of 16 sets and a total capacity of 27900kW. In the actual drilling data recorded on the drilling rig site, various indicators such as static speed, accuracy, steady-state torque pulsation, dynamic speed drop equivalent, zero speed hover control, seamless switching with and without code disk control faults, and tripping speed of the Hewang HD2000 series engineering type frequency converter fully meet the on-site usage requirements.

This project is not only an important milestone in the localization of the 10000 meter drilling rig, but also the first precedent for the application of the first domestically produced water-cooled frequency converter for the 10000 meter drilling rig in China. The successful drilling of this project marks a significant breakthrough in China's deep exploration technology series, providing an important foundation and support for China's future scientific research and oil and gas resource development.
