The combined holder electrode is mainly composed of upper and lower electrode jacket, electrode shell, contact element, bottom ring, protection screen, feed tube, electrode cold and hot air device, electrode water way, electrode pressure release device, accident clamp, lifting vertical cylinder and other components.

The upper end of the electrode jacket is assembled with the electrode pressure release device and the emergency clamp, and the side is assembled with the electrode cold and hot air device. The lower electrode jacket fixed the electrode waterway, the feed tube, the lower end hanging contact element, the bottom ring and the stainless steel screen and other devices.

The current is transferred from the secondary outlet end of the transformer to the calcium carbide furnace through the short net, feed tube, contact element and electrode. The contact element relies on the tension of the dish spring to contact with the electrode shell and conduct current.

Electrode waterways are used to cool the bottom ring and stainless steel shield. The contact element shares one cooling water with the short network. The cooling water enters through the transformer connecting sleeve, enters the contact element through the short network and the feeder tube, and then exits through the feeder tube, the short network and the transformer connecting sleeve.

The lifting and pressure discharge of the electrode are completed by the operation of the hydraulic device. The lifting of the electrode is realized by the action of the vertical cylinder on both sides, the electrode rises when the oil is fed, and the electrode drops when the oil is drained. The electrode pressure release is controlled by the tight pressure release cylinder. Normally, the electrode is held by the caliper due to the tension of the disc spring on the tight oil cylinder. When the electrode needs to be pressed down, the clamping cylinder releases the electrode bar to the oil caliper, and then the pressure release cylinder rises, and then the clamping cylinder oil drain caliper clamps the electrode fin. The pressure discharge cylinder simultaneously feeds the oil to realize the pressure discharge of the electrode. Each electrode is pressed 20mm.
