SS316L Sintered Multilayer Wire Mesh Filter Cartridge
Sintered wire mesh filter is a highly popular filtration filter cartridge. Sintered filter mesh is a widely utilized and highly effective filtration material, offering a broad range of applications. It is composed of multiple layers, typically ranging from 3 to 8, with 5 layers being commonly used. The mesh is carefully crafted using either 304 or 316L stainless steel wire, employing weaving or perforation techniques. Subsequently, the meshes undergo a vacuum sintering process, resulting in the formation of the sintered filter mesh.
The sintered filter mesh comprises five distinct layers, namely the protect layer, filtration layer, dispersion layer, support layer, and skeleton layer. These layers work synergistically to deliver efficient filtration performance. Depending on the specific filtration requirements, the sintered filter mesh can be shaped into various forms such as filter discs, filter tubes, or other customized filter types.

What are the cleaning methods for the SS316L sintered multilayer wire mesh filter cartridge?
The SS316L sintered multilayer wire mesh filter cartridge can be effectively cleaned using several methods to remove accumulated contaminants and extend its service life. Here are some recommended cleaning methods:
1. Backwashing: Reverse flow or backwashing is a common cleaning method for wire mesh filter cartridges. It involves reversing the flow direction of the fluid through the cartridge, dislodging and flushing out the trapped particles. This method is suitable for removing surface contaminants and debris.
2. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Ultrasonic cleaning utilizes high-frequency sound waves to create microscopic bubbles in a cleaning solution. When the bubbles implode near the filter surface, they generate tiny shockwaves that help dislodge and remove contaminants from the wire mesh. Ultrasonic cleaning is effective for removing stubborn or embedded particles.
3. Chemical Cleaning: Chemical cleaning involves using a suitable cleaning solution or detergent to dissolve or break down the accumulated contaminants on the filter surface.
4. High-Pressure Water Jetting: In some cases, high-pressure water jetting can be employed to remove stubborn or compacted contaminants from the wire mesh surface. The high-pressure water stream dislodges the particles and flushes them away. Care should be taken to use an appropriate pressure level to avoid damaging the filter cartridge.
5. Combination Cleaning: Depending on the nature and extent of contamination, a combination of cleaning methods may be employed. For example, a sequence of backwashing, followed by ultrasonic cleaning or chemical cleaning, can provide a comprehensive cleaning process.
