Manganese Lumps/Ingots: Due to their large surface area and light weight, electrolytic manganese flakes suffer from significant burning losses when used as alloy additives. Therefore, it is common practice to re-melt and cast electrolytic manganese flakes into ingots, making them easier to add and reducing burning losses. Metallic manganese is primarily used in the production of high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, non-ferrous metal alloys (such as Cu, Al alloys), as well as a raw material for producing soft magnetic materials (high-purity MnCo3, Mn3Co4), electrode coatings for welding rods, and coal-touching agents for graphite electrodes. Additionally, it serves as an additive, deoxidizer, and desulfurizer in low-carbon high-strength steel.
