How do pure water system process?
The RO water purification system was initially designed for industries such as cosmetics, food, and electronics, and has gained popularity among users due to its stable water quality and easy operation.
This system solves the issues of frequent regeneration and cleaning required for ion exchanging water purifiers. By utilizing the physical principle of reverse osmosis, it enables water to pass through a membrane with a diameter of one ten-thousandth of a micron, effectively separating impurities, ions, microbes, and colloids in the water. The process of water purification through RO involves pressure-driven separation, using a semipermeable membrane and cross flow filtration principles.
The RO membrane acts as a barrier to salts, inorganic and organic molecules with a molecular weight greater than 100, making it an efficient process for removing contaminants and providing the finest level of filtration.
The working process of RO system
a raw water pump that provides pressure to quartz sand and active carbon filters, removing turbidity, suspended matter, organic matter, colloid, chlorine, and harmful substances.
The softener resin exchanges calcium and magnesium ions, while the micron filter prevents large particles, bacteria, and viruses from entering the RO membrane.
The high-pressure pump provides the force needed to push through the RO system, where the membrane's desalination rate can reach 99%, removing over 99% of ions.
Finally, a UV sterilizer disinfects the water as it passes through a stainless steel chamber with a special UV lamp.
The RO system features automatic and manual membrane wash cycles, automatic water-level control, multi-phase pump protection, and protection against power outages, poor power supplies, larger electrical currents, short circuits, and electrical leakages.
The benefits of an RO system include a desalination rate of up to 98–99%, a pure water obtaining rate of up to 75%, continuous water purification for 24 hours, PLC control of automatic flushing, an optional UV sterilizer and ozone generator, low operating costs, and a long lifespan.
