China Wireless SRRC

Product Features

SRRC, or the State Radio Regulation Committee, is also known as the National Radio Management Committee. In 1998, it was formed by the merger of the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center, creating the National Radio Monitoring Center of China.

In 1999, the Chinese government designated specific frequency ranges for different types of radio transmitting equipment. Not all frequencies are legally permitted for use in China. Therefore, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in China must adhere to different frequency regulations. Applicants must also take note of the specified scope for certain radio transmitting equipment. They need to apply for "radio type approval certification" as well as China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or network access license (MII) approval.

In simpler terms, SRRC certification, also known as SRMC certification, refers to radio type approval certification in China.
