FIFI-1 external fire fighting system is FIFI class 1, the total flow rate must be not less than 2400m3/h(10560GPM). It is usually includes 2*1200m3/h(5280gpm) fire water monitors, 1*2400m3/h(10560gpm) fire pump or 2*1200m3/h(5280gpm) fire pump, 4 hose connections on each side of vessel. And the throw range of the water monitor must be not less than 120meters, the throw height of the fire fighting water monitor must be not less than 45meters. For some additional requirements, it can be coupled with foam proportioner for special fires, fixed water spray systems for protection the vessel hull etc.
