Product Details

LED night light EU ErP energy efficiency label

Product Features

The full English name of ERP is energy-related Products. If you want to sell Energy products to Europe, you must pass the ERP energy efficiency test. ERP certification is the energy efficiency certification part of CE certification, called EPR energy efficiency test, which has been enforced since March 1, 2013. In simple terms, the EU energy label is an energy efficiency label affixed to household appliances.

The EU has established the European Product Database for Energy Labelling (EPREL) for consumers to be able to inquire about the energy efficiency rating of a product they have purchased. For product suppliers, this means a new requirement to register energy efficiency information in the EPREL system before products can enter the EU.

From March 1, 2021, the European Union will require a new version of the energy label, which will apply to all offline stores and e-commerce platforms.

At the same time, Amazon is also reminding sellers that new labels will be required starting in March, with new labels for lamps starting in September 2021 and other products to follow in the coming years.

Important Notice: Be sure to upload energy efficiency label before March 3, 2023, otherwise it will be banned from sale on Amazon and other platforms, including but not limited to: lighting equipment, air conditioners, vacuum cleaners, display screens, air heaters, drum dryers, dishwashers, washing machines, refrigerators, etc.

According to the latest policy requirements, all manufacturers/importers/distributors/remote sellers placing "energy efficiency related products" on the EU market must register for the EU Energy Efficiency label!

In other words, as long as you place "energy-efficiency related products" on the EU market during production or trade, you must register an EU energy efficiency label.

Registering for the EU Energy Efficiency label is not only a compliance obligation, it is actually an advantage.

According to Special Eurobarometer 492, in 2019, 93% of consumers approved energy efficiency labelling and 79% of consumers took this labelling into account when purchasing products. Electrical products with energy efficiency labels tend to be more favored by consumers and give priority to them when choosing.
