Introduce
WD1 series surge protector (hereinafter referred to as SPD) is applicable to T, T, TN-C, TN-S, TN-C-S and other power supply systems with AC 50/60Hz and rated voltage of 380V to protect indirect lightning, direct lightning or other transient over-voltage surges. Class III surge protector according to EC61643-1:1998-02 standard. Type D surge protector.
SPD has common mode (MC) and differential mode (MD) protection modes.

Install
Installed at the junction of LPZ0A or LPZ0B area and LPZI area, 35mm standard guide rail is used for installation, and the connecting copper multi strand flexible wire is 16~35mm2.
It is usually installed at the incoming low-voltage main distribution cabinet.
The grounding wire shall be a two-color conductor of more than 10mm2, and the length shall not exceed 500mm.
In order to prevent the failure of surge protective device from affecting the normal operation of the power grid, a fuse or circuit breaker shall be connected in series to the L line protector (Note: it shall be selected according to the nominal current)
Working Principle
SPD is one port, electric shock protection, indoor fixed installation, voltage limiting type.
SPD built-in separator. When SPD fails due to overheating and breakdown, the disconnector can automatically disconnect it from the power grid and give an indication signal. The visual window displays green when the SD is working normally, and red when the SD fails to disengage.
The maximum discharge current Imax of each line can reach 60kA/80kA.
