Process characteristics:
(1) POM processing can not dry, it is best to preheat in the process of processing (800℃ or so), the stability of product size is good.
(2) The processing temperature of POM is very narrow (0 ~ 215℃), and when the residence time in the barrel is slightly longer or the temperature exceeds 220℃, it will decompose and produce irritating formaldehyde gas.
(3) When the POM material is injected, the pressure holding pressure should be larger (similar to the injection pressure) to reduce the pressure drop. Screw speed can not be too high, the residual amount should be less;
(4) POM product shrinkage rate is large, easy to produce shrinkage or deformation. POM specific heat, high mold temperature (800 ~ 100℃), the product is very hot when demoulding, need to prevent burning fingers.
(5) POM should be formed under the conditions of "medium pressure, medium speed, low material temperature and high die temperature", and the mold temperature should be controlled when precision products are formed

POM C/H (black, white) : respectively represents POM copolymer and POM homopolymer, POM copolymer has low melting point, thermal stability, chemical corrosion resistance, flow characteristics, hydrolysis resistance, strong alkali resistance and thermal oxidation degradation, processing property is better than homopolyformaldehyde.
POM homopolymer crystallinity, creep, thermal expansion rate is lower, wear resistance, mechanical strength, rigidity, thermal deformation temperature than copolyformaldehyde. (At present, POM-C copolymerization is widely used in semi-finished POM products on the market)
Pom-h +PTFE (dark brown POM-H+TF is extruded from DuPont POM (DELRIN) and PTFE (Teflon). It retains most of the natural strength of POM-H. Because filled with PTFE (Teflon) fiber and some performance changes, slightly softer, less rigid, more slippery than pure polyformaldehyde resin. Compared with pure POM board, the material lubricity is better. The bearing made of POM-H+PTFE has low friction coefficient, wear resistance and no peristalsis.
