Product Features

The charging system can be divided into two ways: conventional charging and fast charging. In terms of appearance and size, the charging port is actually very simple: the fast charging port is large, with 9 holes (2 large holes, 1 medium hole, 6 small holes), and the slow charging port is small, with 7 holes (5 large holes, 2 small holes), so that even novice users will not plug it wrong. In general, two charging ports will be designed in the front and rear of the car, and some models will also design two charging ports together, such as the front or rear of the car. The owner can choose the charging method according to the charging length requirement.

Fast charging is a type of DC charging. The charging current is slightly higher, and a fast charging station needs to be built, which does not require the power battery to be fully charged, and only meets the needs of continuous driving. Under this charging method, only 50% to 80% of the power battery is charged within 20 to 30 minutes. The ground charging pile (equipment) directly outputs the DC power supply to charge the vehicle power battery, and the electric vehicle only needs to provide charging and related communication interfaces.

The advantages of fast charging: short charging time, fast charging vehicle flow, saving the parking area of the charging station.

Disadvantages of fast charging: high manufacturing, installation and working costs of chargers; The charging current is large, which requires high charging technology and method, and has a negative impact on the power battery life; It is easy to cause power battery abnormalities, there are security risks, and high current charging will have an impact on the public power grid, thus affecting the quality and safety of power supply to the grid.

Conventional charging (slow): This charging method is AC charging method, the external grid provides 220V civil single-phase AC power to the on-board charger of the electric vehicle, and the on-board charger charges the power battery, which generally takes 5 to 8 hours for a full charge.

The advantages of ordinary charging: low cost charging pile (charging box), easy installation; The power grid with low power in the evening can be charged to reduce the charging cost; When charging, the charging current is small and the voltage is relatively stable, which can ensure the safety of the power battery pack and extend the service life of the power battery.

Disadvantages of ordinary charging: charging time is too long, can not meet the needs of emergency vehicle operation.
