ASTM D1743 Grease Corrosion Resistance Tester

Introduction

This instrument is mainly suitable for corrosion resistance test of grease. The sample is coated on the new bearing and run for 60 seconds under a light thrust load so that the grease is distributed as it is used. Bearings are stored at 52 degrees and 100% relative humidity for 48 hours, and then cleaned and checked for signs of corrosion of the bearing outer ring raceway.
