At this time, the lamp is replaced, the quartz sleeve is clean, and the system is ready to continue defending your water supply from pathogenic invaders. A sensor built into the UV system’s ballast will alert you when the lamp is approaching the end of its service life.

They are one of the most reliable and preferred methods of whole-house residential water disinfection. They can also be used in RVs.
