APPLICATION
Testing the integrity of package seals helps ensure that the packaging provides required product protection. Sustainable packaging alternatives, lower cost packaging, and variations in production line sealing parameters are frequently assessed with seal integrity tests. Maintaining the reliability of package seals is critical for product quality and safety.
A sample is placed into the chamber filled with water. Then the chamber is covered with a lid and they are well sealed. Manually open the gas switch so compressed air flows through the venturi tube to provide a vacuum inlet, which is connected to chamber. A gas regulator can adjust the vacuum degree so sample is in a vacuum environment. The pressure difference between inside and outside of sample will cause the headspace gas to escape if there is a leak. The leak is shown by a stream of bubbles coming out from the leak area.
Leak Tester LT-03 uses compressed air as the medium, to generates a stable vacuum through a vacuum ejector. The vaccum level is read through the a built-in high-precision pressure sensor. Parameter setting and test control are carried out through programmable logic controller (PLC), as well as the HMI(human-machine interface) touch screen.
The test parameters of test time duration and pressure can be saves in multiple groups, to save the parameter setting time for the same condition test. Leak Tester LT-03 can automatically record the number of tests and test results(PASS/FAIL) at the same time.
